Council for Life Central Texas exists to empower women, men, and youth to make life-affirming choices. CFL is committed to raising public awareness of the complex issues that surround unplanned pregnancies and providing financial support to agencies that share our mission.
The Heart of Texas Homeless Coalition works towards fostering public education and awareness about the issues of homelessness in our community. Through outreach, advocacy, and planning, they help with housing and crisis intervention programs case management, and family education and support.
The Waco Symphony Association presents a live, professional symphony orchestra with both classical and pop concerts featuring world-renowned soloists. These concerts contribute to the cultural life of Waco and Central Texas and promote music education to both students and adults.
The REACH Therapeutic Riding Center is a nonprofit that helps physically, mentally, or emotionally challenged people reach their potential through equine assisted therapies. Their work focuses on special needs children and adults as well as veterans through equine-assisted activities.
The Community Cancer Association is a nonprofit that helps with the medical, emotional, and financial needs of cancer patients in our community. CCA has been providing assistance to cancer patients in Central Texas for more than 50 years.
Grassroots Community Development is a nonprofit that supports our community through home ownership, financial literacy courses, and leadership training. Nearly 20 years after beginning as an organization, Grassroots has built over 65 new homes and assisted over 335 families in becoming new homeowners while providing financial literacy education to almost 2500 individuals.
