First Leadership Development Session of 2020!

Another important aspect of the Charity Champions program is free leadership development training for all past and present Champions through 360 Solutions. We kicked off our first session this week with more than 100 nonprofit leaders and staff! This month’s topic was “Principles of High Performance.”

TFNB Your Bank For Life and 360 Solutions host five sessions for nonprofits every winter/spring. Past Champions are asked to come back year after year.

The Voice of the Bears John Morris talks with 360 Solutions Founder and CEO Chip Wilson about the origins of the Charity Champions program. Chip was live with John ahead of Baylor’s game against Texas where we honored all 36 Charity Champions.

Instead of recognizing just one Charity Champion at this week’s Baylor Football game, TFNB Your Bank For Life and 360 Solutions invited all 36 Charity Champions back on the field to spotlight the great work they are doing in the community. Have a nonprofit you think needs recognition? Nominate them for next season!

When Lorna and Jimmy Hering’s son Rhett passed away unexpectedly, they and the community of McGregor, Texas were devastated. Now, Rhett’s legacy of kindness and caring is spreading through Rhett Revolution: a nonprofit dedicated to helping others. Rhett Revolution runs the McGregor Food Pantry, helps with nutrition in school, supports grieving parents, and awards scholarships. Those who knew Rhett said helping people was something that came naturally to him.
