2019 Leadership Development

It’s almost time for our second Leadership Development session of the year! 360 Solutions‘ CEO Chip Wilson and guest speaker Meg Poag will discuss The 5 Leadership Roles.

In addition to our monthly Leadership Development sessions, we’ll also have a monthly 360 Group. This group is designed for our non-profit Executives (or key team members) to collaborate on four key disciplines:

  • Strategy & Execution
  • Leadership & Teams
  • Marketing & Fundraising
  • Growth & Sustainability

Our Sixth Champion: McLennan County Pack of Hope

Our Fourth Champion: Restoring Uganda with Restoration Gateway

Randy and Dale sit down with Dr. Tim and Janice McCall of Restoration Gateway. Their mission is 700 acres of land in Northern Uganda. They work to restore peace and heal wounds among the vulnerable children and war-torn people in the area.

About Restoration Gateway

The ministry of Restoration Gateway started in 2004 when seven Ugandan men began meeting to pray under a tree on the land presently held by the project. Their prayer was that God would send someone to help restore all that the enemy had stolen in their land. God answered those prayers and issued a call to Dr. Tim and Janice McCall in early 2005 to move to Uganda. The first trip by the McCalls took place in May of 2005, and the land for the project was selected.

Last Session of the Year and Graduation

It’s almost time for the last Leadership Development session of the year! This session will be a bit different than usual as our 2017 Charity Champions will be graduating. We encourage our winners to bring their entire staff for this special occasion.

This month, 360 Solutions‘ CEO Chip Wilson will cover Emotional Intelligence. Emotionally competent people exude self-confidence, which makes them good leaders and active team players. They maintain an optimistic outlook on life which helps them overcome obstacles.

One Last Time for Our 2017 Champions

Our 2017 Charity Champions were honored for the last time this season at Baylor Football’s newest tradition, the Green & Gold Spring Game. While we’re sad to see them go, we believe once a Champion, always a Champion. We hope these worthy nonprofits will be back to participate next year! Check out this behind the scenes look at the Green & Gold Game.

Now is the time to nominate your favorite nonprofit for next season! Go to charitychampions.org/nominate by June 30th to tell us why your favorite charity should be a Champion.
